FAQ

1. How do you take triON?
Simply mix one packet with 6-8 ounces of water. We recommend that you drink triON immediately upon mixing, on an empty stomach, either in the morning or afternoon. Mix and enjoy the fruity taste!
2. Does triON contain sugar?
triON does not contain table sugar, artificial sweeteners, or high fructose corn syrup. triON contains only natural sugar made from beets. This ingredient is listed as non-GMO crystalline fructose. This means that it is NOT a genetically modified organism and that it is in its natural state.

triON also contains Xylitol. This natural sweetner is considered safe and some studies have shown that it helps to prevent tooth decay. It is slowly absorbed by the body and is actually produced in the body by some of the foods we eat. triON is not like some of the other beverages on the market like Red Bull that contains about 2 teaspoons of sugar, glucose, sucrose, acesuflame k, and aspartame. (1) Acesulfame k stimulates insulin production and in 1988 the Center for Science in the Public Interest petitioned for a stay of approval to the FDA because of their "significant doubt" about the saftey of using Acesulfame k (2). According to the FDA, high levels of phenylalanine found in Aspartame, "in body fluids can cause brain damage". (3)

ROCKSTAR energy drink contains carbonated water, high fructose corn syrup, and artificial flavors. (4) According to the World Health Organization (WHO), consumers should be, "limiting intake of added sugars found in food and drink to no more than 10 percent of daily calories, a step the WHO said could help stop the worldwide rise in obesity that is fueling the growth of such chronic diseases as type 2 diabetes". Also, some types of sweetners including, "table sugar and high-fructose corn syrup, induce insulin resistance, impair glucose tolerance, produce high levels of insulin, boost a dangerous type of fat in the blood and cause high blood pressure in animals" (5).

3. Does triON contain food coloring or preservatives?
No. triON does not contain food coloring or preservatives. The raspberry color is produced by the natural ingredients in triON. triON comes in a powder form that is easily mixed with water.

4. Does triON contain caffeine?
triON contains Green tea and Yerba Mate. Our Green tea is naturally decaffeinated to 95-96% caffeine free. There is about .425 grams (less than ½ a gram) of Yerba Mate in triON. Contained in that is 80mg of xanthine (pronounced- zan thine). Yerba Mate is an evergreen tree of the holly family. This plant is native to South America and Argentina, Paraguay, and Southern Brazil. It is gentler on the stomach than coffee. The first Europeans to use this herb were Jesuit missionaries.

Yerba mate contains a xanthine originally called "matiene". Fortunately, "stereo-chemical and clinical work on xanthines in the last couple of decades have shown that, though similar in structure, the members of this class have widely varying pharmacology" (6).Ovation has included it in triON because we believe that it enhances the nutrient effects of our other ingredients.

5. Can I take triON if I am pregnant, under 12, or have a serious health issue?

Please, check with your physician or health care provider before taking triON.

6. When can I take triON?
We recommend taking triON in the morning or afternoon. You can take one in the morning and afternoon.

7. triON is too strong for me. What do I do?

Some have found triON to be very powerful and you may find that half of the packet is sufficient for you.

8. Can I take triON long-term
Yes. triON contains herbs that have been used long-term safely in the orient for centuries. However, if you have any health conditions, we recommend that you seek the advice of a physician.

9. Will I become dependent on triON like coffee or tea?

No. triON contains natural plant based nutrients that nourish the body and build long term vitality. triON is unique from most energy drinks because it provides the body with what it needs to create and balance its own energy forces. You should not experience a withdrawal.

10. Can I give triON to my pet?

No. triON contains cocoa extract which contains theobromine and this can be harmful or fatal to your pets.

11. Can you tell me why some people have reported weight loss after taking triON for a couple of months? (According to Dr. Ted Brooks, Ph. D.)
